How Stay Free 1776 collects, uses and protects your information when you visit stayfree1776.com or place an order. Last updated October 20, 2026.

What we collect

When you place an order, our checkout collects your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number (if you give it) and payment details. We see your order and contact details, but never your full card number. When you send us a message or join our email list, we collect your name, email and anything you write to us. When you browse the site, we and our service providers automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and how you click and scroll.

How we use it

We use your information to process, make and deliver your order; to send order confirmations, shipping updates and replies to your messages; to send news and offers if you’ve signed up for them; to understand how people use the site so we can improve it; and to prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that help us run the store, and only what each one needs: • Shopify runs our store, checkout, payments and order tracking. • Payment providers you choose at checkout, such as Shop Pay, PayPal, Google Pay or Venmo, process your payment. • Printful and Apliiq print, pack and ship your order, so they receive your name, shipping address, phone number and the items you ordered. • Shipping carriers deliver your package. • Formspree receives messages from our contact form and email sign-ups. • Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us understand how visitors use the site. • Vercel hosts the website. Each provider handles your information under its own privacy policy. We don’t sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

Your shopping bag is saved in your browser so it’s still there when you come back. Our checkout uses cookies to work. We also use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which use cookies and similar technology to measure visits and record how pages are used (such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) so we can find and fix problems. You can turn off Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity by choosing Decline on the cookie banner, or at any time with Cookie preferences at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though checkout may not work without them. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Email

If you join our email list or check the box at checkout, we may send you news and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us. We’ll still send emails about orders you place.

How long we keep it

We keep order information as long as we need it to fulfill orders, handle replacements and refunds, and meet tax and accounting requirements. We keep messages and email sign-ups until you ask us to delete them or we no longer need them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or opt out of marketing emails. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under local law, and we won’t treat you differently for using them. To make a request, email support@stayfree1776.com. We may need to confirm your identity first.

Children

Our store isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Security

Payments are handled by Shopify’s secure checkout. We and our providers use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no way of sending or storing information online is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our store changes. We’ll post the new version here with an updated date.
